The Book Club

I know it has been a while but i've been really busy. recently in book club we wrote sestinas.Sestinas are poems with seven stanzas with the same alternating end words. Six of the stanzas have six lines; the final stanza has three. Mine isn't finished yet but i will post it when it is.

The Book Club

WE have had three meetings already and things are going REALLY well. The teacher who is helping to run it is AWESOME!!! Recently, she gave us a micro-fiction prompt. I don't have mine with me right now so i will post it later!

The Book/Creative Writing Club

Yes!!! The principle has agreed to let us have the club!! It will be starting next week. Fingers-crossed that lots of people will join!!

Great News!!

My English teacher okay-ed the book/creative writing club!! We will be starting soon and hopefully, a lot of people will come and join. I will be making fliers tonight and my friends will make the slips for the books. We will even try to raise money for our library!!

Poetry Contest

At the beginning of March, I entered a poetry contest. We were suppose to be notified by March 19. Well, I never got an e-mail that day. So yesterday when I checked my e-mail, I found out that I actually got in 4th place!!! Let me know what you think!


Family

People who care for one another
Are called a family
No matter if by blood or love
They live together happily

Together they cry in hard times
And comfort those in pain
They smile when life brings joy
Even when in the rain

But what does this all mean?
Are friends family, too?
What family means to me
Is being with those who love you

First Day of Blog
